Martin Linne studied law at the universities of Würzburg and Göttingen (German state exam) followed by a postgraduate program at Edinburgh University (Master of Laws, LL.M.).

 

As a Rechtsreferendar (practical legal training / trainee solicitor) Martin Linne worked at the legal and tax department of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce in London as well as for the Hamburg based lawfirm MÖHRLE HAPP LUTHER, both with a focus on commercial law, company law and EU law.

 

Since 2004 Martin Linne is a fully qualified German Rechtsanwalt (German lawyer), admitted to the German Bar. Martin Linne is entitled to appear in all German courts of first instance as well as all courts of appeal (except for the Federal Court) and the EU courts.

 

In 2015 Martin Linne successfully participated in a program for lawyer specialization in international commercial law (150 hours of studies, 15 hours of examination, Fachanwaltskurs Internationales Wirschaftsrecht).

 

Martin Linne advises on all issues pertaining to commercial law. He specialises in drafting and negotiating complex contracts as well as claim management in international context.

 

Due to his working for a large German lawfirm as well as for an renowned international company group (in-house) for more than 15 years, Martin Linne is broadly experienced in advising German and foreign clients in the international context.  

 

In addition to that, Martin Linne is a certified data protection officer and experienced in advising in international aspects of data privacy compliance.
